Who We Are

Anna’s Ark is owned and operated by Anna Paulson.  At Anna’s Ark we offer certified training, professional pet sitting and dog walking services to South Calgary.  Anna is an active volunteer at the Calgary Humane Society, in the Acadia Community, Parish, Heart and Stroke Foundation, and an avid sports enthusiast.  Anna has held volunteer positions at Sudbury TransCanada Veterinarian Clinic, The Sudbury Humane Society and The Calgary Humane Society.  We offer private and lessons for puppies, polite pooches and reactive rovers.  As a Certified Dog Trainer you can be ensured that your dog is in good hands.  At Anna's Ark only Certified Pet First Aid dog walkers will be walking your dog.  Ensuring that we are able to offer emergency care if your pet becomes injured in any fashion.  We truly have an absolute respect, love and admiration for all of God’s creations and you can be assured that your pet(s) will be well cared for. Our belief is that exercise, discipline and love will help to ensure your dog leads a balanced life.  We practice positive training methods to help your dog be a welcomed member of your family.

 At Anna’s Ark we are very flexible with our scheduling and we always look out for the best welfare of your family friend(s).  Anna’s Ark is proud to be a member of the All Canadian Pet Services Network for over 6 years.  

We take many things into consideration when walking your dog.  We restrict the number of dogs walked at one time.  Many factors are considered when determining what dogs walk together so that a stress free and calm environment is created, including:

• Dog obedience
• Dog size
• Dog mood or disposition
• Dog’s socialization skills
• Dog’s health  
• Dog's age

We have concern for the environment and are very considerate of our surroundings, refraining from any actions that may cause damage.   Cleaning up after our dogs is vital to ensuring good health for all that use the park. 

The welfare of the dogs under our care demand our full attention.  Leashes will always be part our walks even if in an off leash environment.  Your Professional Dog Walker will always be in control.  No dog who acts up will be allowed to continue on this path.  We strive to correct problem behaviours before they become an issue.  We will work as a team with you the owner to ensure any problems are resolved. Dogs need social skills and more importantly, they need a calm assertive pack leader.  Under the direction of your Professional Dog Walker, your dog will develop social skills to help him/her lead a balanced life.   

We will require that you sign a veterinary release in case of emergency, and collect emergency contact information from you.

At Anna’s Ark we have medical, behaviour & obedience training, and TTouch experience.  Perhaps the most important thing is that we will truly be your dogs guardian, always having the utmost concern for the welfare and safety of your dog.

Taking care of your pets and property is a big responsibility. To ease your mind, Anna’s Ark Dog Walking is both bonded and insured.

Flexible Service:
